I think that's a misconception with homeschooling. There are plenty of ways to socialize children without them having to be in school. They can participate in extracurricular activities (like 4-H and Girl/Boy Scouts), volunteer, have play dates, play sports, etc.

I'm all for home schooling. If we end up adopting a school age child I would seriously consider home schooling him/her.

06/09 - Opened home to foster care placements

08/09 - Not chosen at committee
09/09 - Passed on sibling group of 2
