We started getting some calls from our adoption ad!! They started on day 8. The first was a hang up. Then when I got home that night we had an email from the craigslist ad. The as I was writing the woman back, got another call and this was about a baby that was born 2wks ago in Illinois. The next night we got a call at midnight that was just crazy! Someone saying nasty things, UGH! Well over the weekend we stayed in contact with the people from IL and found out the baby was taken to the hospital for detox. The craigslist ad lead wants to meet. I don't think its very promising, the woman is 5 months pregnant and looking into the possibilty of adoption and is in a difficult situation that she won't elaborate on so I don't know. We'll see, but I am excited that the ads are being looked at!
Any updates on anyones else's journey to #2?
