That was their experience, and although it has had an impact on your view, you shouldn't expect that the same will happen to you. It sounds like there may have been some underlying issues that you didn't elaborate on (why was he so angry at his adoptive parents?), nor do you have to.
Suffice to say that each adoption situation is different, each child is different, and each adoptive parent is different. You will find many, many people on this forum have gone through the adoption experience, and have not had anything happen that is close to what you describe.
I suggest that you do a lot of research about this before making up your mind. Go through the old threads on adoption.com, and participate in the newer ones. You'll learn a ton, as I did.
