They are in the process of TPR and unless family steps up we will adopt. Their mother and I both have the same middle name - just different spellings. I think L is old enough that I can give her the option of changing it to that if she wants to. I wouldn't want to change her name otherwise out of respect for their mom. She loves these children very much, just realized she can not care for them for a variety of reasons.
