I know what you mean, Momraine. After we fostered Teeter, we decided if we adopted it would be a tube-feeder since most people are "scared" of them and to us it is no biggie. Its all about what we're used to. You're used to limb differences, I'm used to chubby cheeked boys who LOOK like they would like to eat, but they don't!
