I'm very sorry! I remeber like it was yesterday how I felt when our first baby left (kinship placement)! I still cry when I think about it! It really was so very very awful!. We took another placement that same day. I think I thought it would help me get over it, but it did not! I felt like I had lost my own child! I was in such a funk for weeks and weeks! My husband was worried sick, and I felt like I was crazy for not being able to just get over it! Finally time went on and I started to get a little better each day! I was lucky because the baby's grandparnts are wonderful and have kept in close contact with us (totally did not expect that), and we get picture and visits.
I was so worried it was going to be that awful each time, and I did not know if I could deal with that. Each time we say goodbye to one of our lil ones it is hard, but I also think it gets a little easier as we do it more and more!
Hang in there! ((((hugs)))))
