Pictures are a great way to 'introduce' the sisters to each other. You can then 'step it up' with videos. I would also recommend sending pictures of you, dh, sister and your birth children so AD's sister can know what you look like. Then move on to phone calls so she can hear all your voices. Start with you and dh and then add in the other kids.
A transisiton should be taken slowly, over the course of a few months to let sister get used to the idea of moving away from her ff.
