I did that over the summer and I can honestly say it was the hardest thing I've ever done. I took a 6 week break just to feel really sad and regroup. I know how awful you feel and to add your aunt's death all I can do is give you the best advice I got over the summer. This is it: It's ok to feel bad and be mad and grieve and cry and want to hit a wall and only you can decide when you are done with all of that.
Everyone kept telling me to "take a week." When I didn't feel better after a week I felt guilty and bad for not feeling better. So my advice is don't take a week. Take as much time as you need. Some people need a new placement right away to help them move on and others need to take time. Do what feels best for you and don't feel the least bit guilty about it.
And lastly, for what it's worth a big internet (((((((((((((((HUG))))))))))))))))).
