Exactly what I was going to say, Rose!

A family physician will be able to follow what's going on healthwise. It would also be good to have a regular doc if your dh does have hypertension. Btw, that won't disqualify you--mine has it, has for years. He's usually well-controlled, but the doc always gets him back on track.

Also, the weight thing--usually not an issue, but it could be. It also contributes to high bp. It's tough, but that's the way it is. You're doing the right thing exercise wise. Keep it up. The classification of morbidly obese is about how many pounds over weight a person is. It is not a judgement, just a statement of the facts based on the height/weight scales.

I'm not judging. I struggle with weight issues, too. I'd just be worried about his health if a doc is saying morbidly obese.

Get a second opinion.

And definitely keep that physical report to yourselves!
