DH and I had one last thing to turn in for our homestudy and that was his physical. The dr. (a walk in, not a family dr.) dx'd him as being "Morbidly Obese" and that it would interfere with the raising of a child.
Yes my husband is a
big guy, but we babysit 2 little boys, raised our goddaughter for 10 months, and are quite active. He has NO problems, and has no mobility issues, etc. We go to the park and chase the kids around and go and play ball in our back yard.
He doesn't have any health problems (but had high BP today, this is the first time, and because he had it once he also marked that he had it, and that it would interfere with the raising of a child.
We've recently made a lifestyle change and are working out more every day and are more knowledgeable about our portions, etc.
So now I don't know if we'll be able to get our license because that quack said all of that
I just want to help these kiddos out.
