I see nothing wrong with it. My dd, who is now 8, loves getting her nails painted. We only do light colors. I prefer a pale pink w/glitter. She also loves getting her toe nails done.
I have never taken her to a Salon for a manicure, we just do them at home. More often she gets all dolled up when she is with her girl cousins. They have a bast!
