Not that weather is ever...well,
predictable, but this winter has been interesting! Started out warm, with a very extended fall season. Then the temp dropped like a rock and we had very cold temps. Then it finally snowed. So we had the cold and the snow, which is normal, but now we've had some odd little warm days mixed in.
We usually get rain, or snow, but not both. We've had rain last week on top of two feet of snow. We've had another foot or two of snow - hard to tell because it keeps getting condensed with rain. Now we're getting real rain (not a mix of snow and rain) again...with really warm temps.
It's in the upper 40's and the snow is melting and we're getting rain! In January! The snow level is predicted to rise up to about 7000 feet after being down around 2100 feet. So we're under a flood watch.
So, we were snowed in yesterday with major drifts, and may be flooded in tomorrow.
Anyone else having an odd weather year?
