I read all the posts and saw your latest one. I think you are wise to do what your plan. Afterall it is all in God's hand and He knows the baby or babies that are meant to be yours.

How exciting for you. It os DEFINATELY doable. Two of mine were so close together though not special needs as far as delays.
I also agree that alot of delays are do to neglect and just laziness on the parents part. One of the patients that comes to where I work has her almost 2year old in a stroller because it is easier for her not to have the child walk. Honestly I have never seen the child walk or stand for that matter. Alot of times the parents don't want to bother chasing the kids around so it is easier to keep them immobile. Very sad I know, but they do catch up when given the chance with proper care.
