My absolute favorite is "Three Little Words" by Ashley Rhodes-Courter. I have bought 16 copies of it so far because I am pressuring our friends and family to read it. It is an autobiography written by a 25-year old woman who was taken into custody by social services when she was 5 and adopted when she was 11. This story shows how she felt being bounced through foster care and clarifies why she gave her adoptive parents a hard time. Other good resources are "Beyond Consequences" by Forbes and Post, and "Primal Wound", but I don't know that author. We also felt that "Adoption:Stories of Lives Transformed" by Dixie Davis, was definitely worth the time to balance out the negative stories you often hear in online posts and support groups.
Good luck!!!
