I'm in the very beginning stages of adopting an older child (from 8 to 11 years old). I've done a lot of research and found a lot of articles online, but I was wondering if anyone had any advice on books or journals or magazines to read? I know that it takes more than a lot of book knowledge to raise a child....but a little knowledge can never hurt.
