Personally I wouldn't go this route. It may backfire on her when she brings it out to the public. We too thought about doing this but it just wasn't worth the risk.

Best bet is to make sure you have everything written down and have a good attorney on your side. I know in our situation the Judge did not want to sit on a custody battle and left it up to CPS, which went back and forth for what seemed like forever. Just standing your ground in a mature fashion can only help.
