All children mixed with Black don't necessarily have to look Black, (as in dark, or darkened skin). Black Americans come in a great variety of colors. Perhaps the Black Birth Parent and/or family members were on the lighter side of the spectrum, or perhaps they were mixed themselves, as so many Black Americans are, or maybe the baby took coloring after their White side of the family.

Comment: One of the pictures in the post showing "biracial" familes is of Soledad O'Brien and her children. Soledad is Afro Hispanic, (African, Indian, Hispanic), and her husband is White, this may make her children more "tri" than "bi." This color stuff is ridiculous, who cares!!! Love your baby!!!
