You would be surprised at how many children they will let you put in one room. I am single and was living in a two bedroom apartment when I adopted my son. The second room was small and I was afraid it would not even be big enough for an infant. Well, when the state came they measured and said I could put three kids in that room!

They also said I could have two kids in my room with ME! LOL!

Kids of different genders can share a room until they are like three or four. I would totally go for a sibling set and I have no doubts the room is big enough for two. Just try to get a sibling set with kids of the same gender so you don't have to worry about moving to a bigger place at a specific time period.

I ended up bringing home my son's newborn sister a year after he was born and came home. He had his own room and she stayed in my room with me since she was just a baby.

When he was two and she was one I bought a small house and now they have their own rooms, and so do I.

Good luck!
