Hello..I have yet to adopt but I am leaning heavily on adopting a sibling group...I know that if they are the same gender they can share a room...you being an only child should not be a problem for the county and can't see why it would unless it affected you adversely and caused problems for you...there are many "only" children that have gone on to foster/adopt....
I'm not one of them..I have 2 brothers and 2 sisters...if you go under the "Adoptive Parents" thread, there is a link for sibling adoptions and some of those posters are single parents(as I will be)...good luck....
I know CommittedSoul and Marakios are both single parents of a sibling group(both have 2 sons).....you may want to check out their posts!!!
