Court Tomorrow

Court is tomorrow to terminate services for the parents. I would love to go and be a fly on the wall at court, however my children have school functions that I need to attend. I did take baby girl to her first and most likely last visit with bio's, however dad didn't even show up and mom stated to social worker "she knows she cant have her kids, but just wants them to have a good life"....I tell ya what being a foster parent sure has brought some intersting people into my life, I am not sure how some of these parents can just walk away. However, I do have to say I commend them for being able to know what is right for the child and want them to have better. But still in a way I hurt for "some" not all for the fact that they have not be taught what is right and what is wrong and they continue down the same path and get the same end result. I was not prepared for the bizarre situation this incendent has brought us, this truly takes the cake as far as a strange situation.

I have a few questions for you who have foster/ adopted. Our baby girl has some health issue's I am concerned with, she has a hole in her heart, lung issue's from being born early and has some optic nerve issue's with her eyes. Have any of you experienced any of these health concerns and what has the future been for these children?? I know every child is different but I am just concerned for her future. Thanks
