That's cute about Emery!! Tonight two things came up: we are very close with two Kaz families and a couple China families. One is still waiting on China after we started almost the same time, it's so close now! Anyway....out of the blue asked about where Natalya was from...I told her she was from Kaz (but she knows also) like Karina, (who she calls Baby Kazakhstan) "oh."..then silence. Then later she was taking a bath and noticed two freckles/moles on her leg. She asked how come she does not have a lot like me and Grandma...so I told her that Mommy and G-ma are Spanish and that's the nature of Hispanic skin and that she is Russian and Russian's don't usually have many "dots" as she says. "Oh..." silence, stared off look, then right back to playing.
I suppose she is able to process more things now....the short little discussions are what she can handle right now?
Guess it's all part of the process of telling them their story and about life! Thanks for all your support!
