I have three Latino children (none from El Salvador) but my neighbor adopted a daughter from El Salvador--but this was 1985! You are welcome to email/PM with questions but remember that we're talking 23 years ago so all my info is 100% out of date. For what it's worth, the neighbor passed away several years ago but her daughter is 23 and evidently doing ok. I've pretty much lost touch but my ex talks to her from time to time.
