This is our first post here. We are a couple married 36 years. We own a home in a nice area. We had one baby who passed away 18 hours after birth due to a needed C-Section done too late. We were told we could have two more, which proved to be untrue. Later after a radical hysterectomy was needed we tried adoption, went through home study and got licensed as a foster home. But we were limited to a very few choices and we found the system to be frustrating and not very helpful.. We decided instead to try surrogacy. The agency we went with turned out to be a scam and we lost a lot of time and money, and got only a lot of grief. Now we are older, a lot older, and lookng to adopt an older teen, or aged out of foster care. We do not want to go through home study again. We understand there are a lot of teens who need a safe secure permanent home and an opportunity to continue school and get started in life. We have checked with agencies and sites online but so far have not been successful.
