I went cold turkey with Jory at around 9 or 10 months. I was sick of him dropping them as he took it in and out of his mouth like it was a toy. He dropped it when we were in a movie theater and I said, I'm done.
Someone suggested cutting like 1/4" off the paci each day or every other day until there's nothing left for the child to suck on.
