I had a LOT of mostly used gender neutral clothes, and it was good I did. We got a call...get on a plane tomorrow. We also had a second hand carseat to travel with (don't travel with your new seat if you are checking it!) I also had a second hand snap and go stroller. The airline broke it. Don't travel with your nice stuff
If you are doing cloth, start now...I totally agree with that.
When we were gone, my sister bought us a nice travel system, and dropped her bassinet off at our house (and cleaned it and did all our laundry, with my Nana's help) so we knew we would have a spot to sleep the baby when we got home. We would have used a pack and play (that we also had) if her daughter wasn't done with the bassinet yet. They used the 10 days we were away to move their daughter out of the bassinet into her crib!
