We use a nightlight that plugs in that has a little lever on it where we can change the intensity of the light. It's not very bright. We have it more for us than him, though, because we usually get "called" in there a couple of times a night to replug and light is definitely needed to find the pacifier
. Which reminds me that I need to start a post for help on how to get him off his pacifier, which I'll do after this so I don't hijack your post. I'm not sure on the Christmas lights-sorry not much help there. Thanks for your post, though-it reminded me that, now that our son has JUST started crawling, I probably should get a nightlight that he can't rip out of the wall.
