Oh my goodness....this HAS to be SO HARD. But, if it's any solace, and I suspect you've already thought about this too, the fact that she's not saying 'no' at this point, shows she's still thinking of adoption. And, as others have said, better she take her time and know this is the right decision for her---and baby----than to do it in haste.
(This is why I don't like 'matches'......makes it doubly hard on everyone.) Still, take a deep breath and know that at this point, 'no news is still good news'.
