I like to play around with the color saturation. For the pumpkin shots I lowered the saturation to sort of fade out the duller colors and bring out the subject. I use Printshop ProPhoto but don't necessarily recommend that program. Mine is years old and I'm searching for something more advanced.
This is a really great thread 4ever! I'm so inspired by everyone's artistry. I've really got to get out more with my camera.
