I'm probably blowing this out of proportion, but this creeped me out!!
Since we're looking to raise our adoption fees without going into debt, I've been searching for frugal-living discussion boards. I found a one that gave lots of great tips, and I was excited! I joined and told my little story, including why we were looking to save money.
Someone responded to the thread that I reminded her of someone she knew from another board. I thought it might be this one, so I PM'ed her and asked her which board she was referring to.
My mouth dropped - it was a board that got ugly and nasty, one that I left with a very sour taste in my mouth. This person was NOT rude or weird or anything. I guess I just don't like the idea that this person might be someone that was so ugly to me - or that still affilliated with those people.
I know, I know - - it's so "highschool-ish" of me!! LOL
(I LOVE that emoticon - it's so perfect for the little tantrum I am having now!!)
