typically, they are looking for a safe home- no exposed wires or other hazards, generally clean, a clear path to all rooms, smoke detectors that work, knives, chemicals, and medicines in a locked cabinet. water temperature between 105-120 i believe. but if it is too hot when they test it, just agree to turn it down. you can test it with a meat thermometer...just run it under the hot water for several minutes in each room. other than that, i can't remember. sometimes states post foster care home regulations online, so try googling your state. congratulations and good luck!!!!!
