We finally got the homestudy scheduled for our application to kinship foster our nephew. FINALLY.....we got a step further in this process. I think all the ruckus I raised in the last 7-10 day stirred the pot alittle.

I know that we only have 1 homestudy for kinship foster typically per our CW.

The CW called today and they are coming tomorrow. It's being pushed to move him before Christmas. I guess they told bio dad that they intend to move him in the next week or two to us.

Anyhow, the CW said we do not need to have the bedroom ready for this. We have a 3rd bedroom that will be my nephews room. Right now it's just a "catch-all" room. She said we'll just have to show we have a crib and other items when they transfer him. So, what will they be looking for? Just not sure what to expect.....also for traditional foster is it 1 homestudy or several? Just wondering if this has a different set of criteria.
