I have one room painted light yellow, one room is pale green. Both very gender nuetral that can be switched at any time.
The third is dark blue. The third room was never intended as a bedroom but as a playroom. When it was turned into a bedroom for JT (so she wouldn't have to share with 5yr olds). I went out and got dry erase paint. We covered one full wall with it. Now she is able to draw, get her feelings out and then erase them and she uses it to study.
The problem with that is now everyone wants a dry erase wall in there room. I will be spending one weekend soon completeing that.
I know how wonderful it has been though as an outlet for feelings and emotions so I will schedule it in.
