Those sound so cute.

I am on a budget and this is where I am so far.


I have just one room, I have a crib, toddler bed and daybed in one room. Because I have only one room available and I do not know that gender child I am getting, I tried to decorate the room to make it welcoming to both girls and boys. I wanted a bright Happy room. I left the walls antique white. I brought some Bright yellow/marigold Sheer curtains. My friend gave me some Crib sets complete with sheets, and comforter with the dust ruffles. One is yellow, with white, blue,and purples bears. I purchased a yellow pillow sham. I have that one on the toddler bed

The daybed has a light blue comforter with Marigold trim. The bed has a yellow dust ruffle.

The crib has a yellow and blue blanket. I really wanted to put the yellow bumper that matches the set that is on the toddler bed, but I can't. Here in TX you can not put bumpers in cribs.

On the walls, I have two matching crib comforters that have bear children playing in the garden. The primary colors are yellow. I had a white slim Wicker shelf. I colored it Marigold yellow. It matches the curtains perfectly. I have books and a few toys stragically placed on the shelves already.
