I'm with you - MOM and DAD are the people that raise the child, wipe it's snotty nose, deal with rotten behavior, and tuck them in at night....
Mother and Father gave the sperm and egg.
They aren't always the same person.
I do correct people if they say anything BUT luckily I haven't heard people say the wrong things too much.
