Unhappy New here.

Hi,
I don't really know where to start, and I'm nervous about putting too much "out there" on the internet...so I'll be brief.

Basically, we are a fost/adopt home and we've had our kids for over a year. The termination of parental rights had happened, but the bio's won their appeal. They now have 6 months to prove they are worthy and then they get the kids back. We do not have de facto now (long story) but will be applying for it and hiring an attorney this week. The kids suddenly have a bunch of unmonitored visits.

Both kids are young, we've had them over half their lives. Both spent less 4 months in their bio parents care. Everyone, including their attorney, was shocked at the appeal ruling.

Just trying to wrap my head around all this...we thought it was pretty much a done deal and just a waiting game for the appeal to be over. And now, everything is topsy turvey and there's a very good chance we'll lose our kids.

Help, please.
