I have never felt that way about my birthday, primarily because I understand why I was given up. How much do you know about your adoption? If you don't know much, maybe that would be a start. (for instance, my bmom was 15.)

I hate that you feel this way, especially about the day you were born. I wish I had words to comfort you. Stay here, vent, and visit the birthparents section. I think you'll see most of them deeply loved the kids they gave up. It wasn't rejection at all, but hope for something better for their child.

There are other adoptees that feel as you do. I hope they'll check in and share with you.
