We went out to eat with my family (who are actually really wonderful) and my sister said "you know Carlos and Sofi could actually get married when they are older". I said "What?? They are brother and sister". We actually went back and forth several times before I got my point across. I asked my sister if she ever had dreams of marrying our brother.
My husband's nephew (age 19) said of Carlos when we first brought him home "he's not my cousin, he's just some kid who came over the border." HE'S still a jerk!
