My kids believe in Santa the same way I grew up. Children are only young for so long and to deprive them of that magic and innocence woul be pitiful IMO.

When I was a young child I wanted a certain toy and for some reason my parents were unable to locate the toy. So what does my dad do? he opens up a couple of toy stores the following February. Of course everyone knew that my dad worked for Santa.. lol
I have no problem telling it like it is, I was spoiled, but I wasn't a brat. My parents lost 3 fullterm c section still born babies so by the time I came along the sky was the limit. Talk about aparents being held on a higher standard(a whole nother post) They loved me and wanted me to be happy and I look back and see what wonderful people they were and are and will always be.

There is nothing like witnessing the wonderment in a child's eyes. In our house there was never a good list or bad list thing. Santa came and gave all the kids gifts because all children are special and good.
