Gwen, so sorry to hear all this! I think you should give up on this one. This one wasn't meant to be.
In my last failed match, we didn't give the emom much money but she received significant support from the crisis center in terms of an "adoption subsidy" including rent paid for months, food cards for publix every week, transportation, and other things. Same thing with dcf too - our atty and the center couldn't tell her that the state was going to take the baby because it would be considered coercion.
