Our first home visit went fine.

And you don't need to have everything "perfect" before the first visit. Our CW had a few good suggestions for child proofing the house - like putting a safety latch on the deep freeze ($2.49 at home depot). We took care of it before her next visit and all was fine.

Just remember - the social workers have children and dogs houses too. They are not perfect parents or housekeepers. They put their pants on one leg at ta time just like we do.
