Only here would everyone understand how big of a deal it is for V to ask you for something... While "not asking" may not have been a consious thing for him to keep from attaching, seeing this shows that he is also "not-consiously" allowing himself to settle in... at least some... and with some I guess it takes a long time.

...not to change the subject, but in our little situation with E going back to his mothers, I'm finding E is no longer asking me for things anymore... I think subconsiously or not, he's trying to see or prove that he doesn't need Kerby any longer and can be successful without Kerby at his moms... anyway, sorry to digress, but I understand your enthusiasm...
