We have signed the paperwork stating we want to adopt our current FD today. We also found out that the state of Maine no longer pays lawyer fees for adoptions and we can either try to do it ourselves or we can pay for a lawyer of our own. My CW was supposed to have us do paperwork 2 weeks ago and we would have been fine but because we did it today and the decision was made yesterday we can not get help. Oh well
