So has anyone asked their child's peditrician to alter the vaccination schedule? Just wondering as I am considering asking DD's to stretch it out a little and not give her so many at once.

She got really sick last time she got her shots. I tried to tell them my concerns last time and kind of got ignored and made to feel like I had no idea what I was talking about because DD is our first baby.

The first shots they gave her made her a little sick. The last time she screamed so loudly and so often that she lost her voice. She was like that for almost 3 hours. She ended up with diarehhea (SP?) so badly that it was clear up to her shoulder blades and down the toes of her jammies. Yes those went in the garbage.

Is it ok to stick to my beliefs and say no? This time I know they want to give her a flu shot on top of the 6 types of medicine she had last time. I would rather pay for 3 visits than have her go through that again.
