This is a little off topic from adoption, but I have a question that relates to the last question I posted here about being a liberal Catholic. Many of you gave me such great feedback from my last question that I'm hoping you can answer one more question for me: If your liberal beliefs differ from some of those of the Catholic church, how do you explain those differences to your children? I'm still not quite there as far as personally becoming Catholic, but we have decided to go ahead and raise our DS in the Catholic faith. My DH has tried to explain to me how he personally reconciles his differences in beliefs, but I think it's easier to understand on a personal level than explain to someone else (especially little ones). Any insight would be much appreciated.
