Oh and taking up what Joei wrote, many of my friends projected their OWN worries, fears etc. onto me. I too, had to explain that HOWEVER long I had with a child, it would be a good thing because I was helping out. Just because OTHER people couldn't be foster parents, doesn't mean YOU can't.
