another hair question
How can I detangle/get lint out of my daughter's hair without harming it? Our 8 month old daughter is mixed AA/CC and has hair I would call curly. When you first wash her hair its easy to comb and lays in small curls on her head. Her hair isn't very long, at most 4 inches when pulled straight. After a few days it gets tangles and somehow also gets straighter on top while forming tight little curls in back. Sometimes I wet it and comb it through-between washing, but I feel like I may be hurting her hair. Especially difficult is that she gets tiny pieces of lint into the ends and then her hair twists around the lint and creates a tangled ball of lint/hair. My dh thinks we should wash it more--but I've read a lot of things that say this will just dry it out. Any suggestions?
