If I had been a little younger when I adopted -- my daughter came home when I was 51 -- and if I had been blessed with more money (and maybe, though not necessarily, a husband), I suspect that I would have a houseful of kids.
Becca has been with me since 1997. She is now 13 years old. She is a total joy -- gorgeous, very bright, very healthy, very loving and empathic. I am lucky to have ONE child like her. I would love to have several more like her.
