I did not adopt from Russia the first time but when Guatemala was shutting down, I always thought I would adopt from EE when my son was 3 or 4 and adopt a 1-2 year old boy. If money were no object, I would have my homestudy done and be waiting for a referral! But, of course, money is an object, and I just can't swing it as a single parent. I still dream that I will be able to one day and I look at the photo listings all the time.
