I live an hour + from Philly and it was definitely mayhem. I'm a HUGE HUGE DIE-HARD, lifelong NY Mets fan though so it was a depressing day/week/month for me.  Hee hee...
My dh grew up in West Chester and is a Phillies fan though so he was quite happy with the outcome, and if it makes him happy it can't be all that bad.  LOL.
Enjoy the celebration...it's particularly exciting for little ones. I remember when I was young 10 and the NY Mets won the World Series. I was in HEAVEN!!!!
