Question about adopting from foster care in another state
Ok I have some questions and I hope someone here can help.
I recived a call from my sister in law about a friend in new jersey that her grandchildren were removed form her daugter because she left the kids with her friend and took off to another state the childrens mother dosn't want the kids any more. the Grandmother can only keep 2 and wants us to take the baby. They were removed last night. I am in florida and am a liscesed foster parent. the lady and her family would like to have us adopt the baby. ok so what do we have to do? we have a call into the caseworkers there and have to wait for a call. boy do I hate waiting. Does anyone have any information on a case like this and know what would have to be done?
Please help I am so excited and scared at the same time.
